An affordable 33-unit housing project adjacent to the Valentine Road Apartments supportive housing complex in Ventura is moving closer to reality, with construction potentially starting in 2027.
The Ventura City Council voted unanimously June 9 to award about $1.6 million in HOME American Rescue Plan funds and authorized a letter to the state supporting the project’s application for tax credits.
When is the project scheduled to open?
Ventura Housing CEO Jeffrey Lambert said he hopes to begin construction in February or March 2027 for the Pasteur Court project, with an anticipated opening in summer 2028.
