It is a sad day for barbecue lovers across Arkansas. Count Porkula recently announced that its last day will be June 21.
“We’re very proud of what we built,” said Walt Todd, founder and owner. “The friendships and the experiences that we had through it will carry us for a long time.”
Count Porkula was established in 2008 by Todd and Kelly Lovell. The restaurant began as a food truck before expanding to The Rail Yard and then into two physical locations on Maumelle Boulevard in North Little Rock and in the Midtown area of Little Rock…
