Heavy rainfall is creating dangerous driving conditions across the Shreveport-Bossier area as water continues to accumulate on roadways, leaving some vehicles stranded and prompting officials to urge residents to stay off the roads.
Flooding is being reported in several neighborhoods and low-lying areas throughout the region, where streets have become covered with standing water. Motorists are encountering flooded intersections, reduced visibility and rapidly changing conditions as rain continues to fall.
