Philadelphia woman accused of stealing from Tri-State city with forged checks

SPRINGDALE, Ohio (WKRC) – A Philadelphia woman is in Cincinnati to answer to charges that she forged checks to steal from the City of Springdale. Alisa Dillard is charged with forgery and counterfeiting.

Dillard forged four checks, each for $4,800, according to court papers. Three of them went through for a total of $14,800.

The forged checks had the stolen routing and account numbers for Springdale’s operating account. Court documents do not detail how Dillard allegedly got these numbers…
