NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – U.S. Army Reserve Staff Sergeant Javonte Smith, a native of Newport News, recently participated in children’s sports day in Poznan, Poland. The event brought together U.S. service members and local school children for a day of games, teamwork and cultural exchange.
Staff Sergeant Smith serves as a religious affairs noncommissioned officer with the
