TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — New concerns about the condition of Tampa’s historic Jackson House are prompting questions about when long-awaited restoration work will begin.

The Jackson House, a landmark that hosted Black travelers, entertainers and civil rights leaders during segregation, has sat vacant for years as preservation efforts moved through planning, funding and approval stages.
