OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — News 4 employees observed multiple people being taken into custody following a standoff at a Northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex Tuesday morning.
Oklahoma City Police say the standoff was connected to reports of armed robberies at convenience stores in the metro the same morning. Agencies managed to track the individuals involved to the Augusta Apartments near Northwest 122nd Street and Meridian Avenue.
A News 4 photojournalist was on the scene around 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, and observed two suspects coming out of the apartment complex with their hands raised within that hour. Two more individuals came out with their hands raised just after 5:00 a.m., but Oklahoma City Police have since clarified they are not suspects in the investigation…
