LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. — A Lonoke County woman is searching for answers after she says her retired racehorse was found dead Friday morning from a suspected gunshot wound, leaving behind a 4-week-old filly now being raised by hand.
Monica Yarbrough said she last saw her mare, Eidolon, alive around 9 p.m. Thursday while feeding the mares and their foals.
