COMMIT: Minnesota earns a commitment from California defensive tackle Lemani Fehoko

Minnesota has been on a recruiting tear over the last three weeks, as PJ Fleck and the Golden Gophers staff have already received double-digit commitments as they continue to close on top targets. Now with ‘Summer Splash’ official visit weekend #2 here, the recruiting momentum hasn’t stopped, as the Gophers had 13 official visitors on campus the second weekend of June. One defensive tackle who had been a priority was California’s Lemani Fehoko.

Minnesota was the lone Big Ten team with an official visit set for Fehoko, as he’s already seen Boise State and Washington State and was set to see Duke later in June. The 6-0 defensive tackle was on campus for the first time back in April and immediately set an official visit to return following that trip. Moments ago, Fehoko announced on social media that he’s now heading to the Midwest to play his college ball in the Twin Cities.
