1. Packed public hearing highlights concerns over MMSD’s future
The private company that manages Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District’s (MMSD) wastewater treatment system has agreed to an audit. In a release sent to the media, Veolia North America announced what it’s calling the Milwaukee Standard. It outlined five elements, including a third-party review of its contract performance and environmental compliance.
