The public will have a chance to hear more about the plan to bring big time film and tv projects to Shreveport.Curtis 50 Cent Jackson is in town for what’s being billed as a “fireside chat” to answer questions from the public.

This event is Wednesday at 6pm at the Convention Center in downtown Shreveport. The doors open at 4pm and once the event starts, the doors will be closed and no one will be allowed to enter. Organizers urge you to get there early to get a seat. 50 Cent will be at the event and is open to discussing his plan and vision for Shreveport.
Orville Hall, Growth Advisor for G-Unit Studios says they are prepared to discuss the delays in getting things moving, but he tells KEEL News there have been flooding issues at the Millennium Studios property which is where G-Unit plans to locate a large part of the operation. The flooding issues are still not solved. During the heavy rains on Monday, water got into the building again. Mayor Tom Arceneaux sent this statement to KEEL News:
“There was some water intrusion into the building today. We met with G-Unit officials on-site to evaluate and begin to problem-solve for the short-term and long-term.”
But we do know G-Unit will not likely move high dollar equipment into the building until the flooding issues are solved…
