EUREKA, Mo. – The celebration of America’s 250 brings the increase in fireworks as seasonal tents and stands open to the public this Saturday.
Officials are reminding those participating on how to properly handle consumer explosives.
“They are pyrotechnics,” said Chief Scott Barthelmass of the Eureka Fire Protection District. “They have exploding projectiles. There is a good chance for injury. Each year, there are several hundred people injured in the state of Missouri.”…
