Greenville CSD appoints new superintendent

GREENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Greenville Central School District has appointed its next superintendent. Rachel Anderson will take over the role on July 13.

Anderson currently serves as the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction at Guilderland Central School District. She also previously worked as Guilderland’s instructional administrator for math, science and technology from 2018 to 2022.

“Rachel Anderson brings a unique combination of instructional expertise, administrative leadership, and a deep understanding of our community,” said board of education president Tracy Young.

But this will not mark Anderson’s first time in Greenville. A longtime resident, she was the valedictorian of the district’s class of 1996 and also served as an agriculture teacher at Greenville High School from 2002 to 2018…
