Camille Flores sentenced to 20 years for role in 2020 robbery & shooting case

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A woman convicted in connection with a 2020 robbery that left a man shot in the face has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

On Tuesday, Judge Jennifer McCoy sentenced Camille Flores after a jury found her guilty in May of armed robbery, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and obstruction of justice. Flores was acquitted of attempted murder.

According to prosecutors, Flores arranged a marijuana transaction with 20-year-old Jermaine Snyder at the Carriage Lane Apartment Complex in 2020. During the encounter, Snyder was shot in the face.

Flores was not present during the multi-day trial. Earlier this year, Judge McCoy ruled that court proceedings could continue without her and later issued a warrant requiring that Flores be brought before the court before her sentencing could be unsealed…
