AUSTIN, Texas — A person was rescued from a burning home in South Austin Tuesday morning and taken to a hospital, the Austin Fire Department said.
Crews responded to a house fire at 306 W. Johanna St. at 7:08 a.m., the department said. Firefighters located a person inside the home and pulled them out, immediately providing life-saving care before the person was transported to a local hospital.
