The Opelousas Museum has been selected to participate in the inaugural Fieldwork Fellowship, a new national program designed to support rural and Tribal communities through customized design, planning and project development assistance.
The recognition places Opelousas and St. Landry Parish among a select group of communities across the country working to preserve and expand local cultural narratives, according to a prepared statement.
