MILWAUKEE — The baby zebra at the Milwaukee County Zoo has died.
Zoo officials said that Mistari, who was born in April, was “humanely euthanized” after suffering from a severe leg injury.
They said she sustained the severe injury to her right calf as she was shifting to the outdoor zebra yard during her normal routine. The zoo said it had called the veterinary team to assess the injury right away…
