NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is trying to identify as many as five suspects in the investigation of the killing of an 18-year-old who was shot at a high school graduation party. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
According to the NOPD, it was a little after midnight on May 12 when 18-year-old Ferdinand Woolens was shot in the 1500 block of North Derbigny Street. Police say he’d been at a high school graduation party. Three days later, he died.

About a month later, police arrested a suspect. He’s identified as 17-year-old William West, Jr. He was booked with second-degree murder.
Police also released two security camera clips that show as many as five people walking, who police say were also involved in the homicide. All of them are seen wearing either hoodies or hats as well as masks over their faces.
