Centene to offer staff buyouts, St. Louis impacts unknown

ST. LOUIS – Centene, one of the St. Louis region’s largest healthcare companies, will offer voluntary buyouts to a number of employees, though the company has not confirmed how many workers could be affected.

In a statement Tuesday, a Centene spokesperson tells FOX 2: “Centene is positioning the company to lead the future of healthcare – working to deliver a simpler and better experience for our members and partners while meeting the realities of today’s healthcare environment. Today we announced a Voluntary Separation Program to support employees who may be considering a transition.”
