A Greenville lawyer was part of a team that secured a $101 million verdict in a case involving a deadly construction site wall collapse in Hendersonville five years ago.
Three men were critically injured and a fourth killed on Jan. 13, 2021, when the 12-foot concrete retaining wall fell on them at the Hajoca Corporation plumbing supply facility in Hendersonville, according to news reports. The June 1 payout is described by attorneys involved as the largest ever in North Carolina.
