Corey Feldman Hospitalized After Flight to L.A.; Diagnosed with Food Poisoning

Actor Corey Feldman was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Monday after feeling unwell during his flight from Chicago to Los Angeles International Airport. The 54-year-old “Stand by Me” and “Goonies” star was met by medical personnel upon arrival, with a doctor on board initially attending to him mid-flight, though the exact cause of his discomfort was not immediately known.

At the hospital, doctors ruled out gallstones as a cause of Feldman’s symptoms. By Tuesday, his representative confirmed the diagnosis: a severe case of food poisoning.

“Corey is doing much better and is now out of the hospital,” the spokesperson shared. “He wants to thank everyone for their love and well wishes and really appreciates all the messages he has received.”

Feldman had been in Chicago to join the 40th anniversary celebration of “Stand by Me,” one of his early and notable films, where he appeared alongside co-stars Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton.

Looking ahead, Feldman is set to release his single “What Am I Here 4” this Monday and will perform at two birthday concerts scheduled for July 25 at the Arrow Room in Rancho Cucamonga and July 26 at the Garden Amp in Garden Grove.
