Grand Rapids commissioner gets ‘numerous’ complaints about amphitheater sound

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grand Rapids commissioner said she has received several complaints about the new Acrisure Amphitheatre creating too much noise.

“There have been numerous, numerous emails I have received and have been made aware of, and even last night continue to receive those,” said First Ward City Commissioner AliciaMarie Belchak during Tuesday night’s commission meeting.

The Acrisure Amphitheatre downtown opened on May 15, bringing in big names like Lionel Richie, Jelly Roll and Kid Cudi.
