ATLANTA — Hundreds of aspiring content creators traveled to Atlanta this week hoping for a chance to earn a spot at internet superstar Kai Cenat’s Streamer University, but confusion surrounding a canceled event led to large crowds, police intervention and several arrests before the streamer announced late Tuesday that auditions would move forward at a new location Wednesday.
Cenat, one of the most popular online streamers in the world, has built a massive following through his high-energy livestreams, celebrity collaborations and viral content.
He has more than 17 million Instagram followers and millions more across Twitch, YouTube and other platforms.
