JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The America250 Mississippi Commission is inviting Mississippians and visitors to a statewide celebration of the nation’s 250th birthday with United in Song: A Mississippi America250 Celebration.
The free event is scheduled for June 20, 2026, at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson at 6:00pm. Organizers say the program will feature a statewide volunteer choir, a live orchestra, a children’s choir, and special guests, highlighting Mississippi talent and pride.
