450 drivers pulled over as police increase enforcement on Saddle Rd.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii Island police are conducting high-visibility traffic enforcement to try to reduce the amount of crashes in the county.

From June 8 to June 14, officers were placed in easy-to-see locations along Daniel K. Inouye Highway, also known as Saddle Road.

In just one week, officers pulled over 450 vehicles and identified more than 600 traffic violations…
