MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) — A front porch frenzy featuring a sitting alligator on Wednesday led to a Moncks Corner homeowner dialing up the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control to handle the matter.
Officers were dispatched to the caller’s residence on Charlesfort Way to relocate the animal, but found that it was much larger than they expected or were equipped to manage.
After calling for backup from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, they were able to safely remove the ‘gator from the residence and release it into a more “appropriate setting,” police say…
