Tennessee drivers can now claim refunds for parking overcharges, tickets, wrongful booting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Tennessee drivers who were wrongly charged for parking, issued parking tickets, or had their vehicles booted without cause may now be eligible for refunds under a settlement announced by the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office.

Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti said a new claims system is now available for consumers seeking reimbursement related to issues involving Metropolis-operated parking facilities across Tennessee.

“For people who can show they were charged a specific amount, they will get that amount back up to $250,” Skrmetti said…
