HIGHLANDS COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Two people, including a Port St. Lucie man, were killed in a head-on crash in Highlands County on Tuesday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at about 12:10 p.m., a 2016 Ford Explorer was traveling on Northwest New Pine Ridge Road. At the same time, a 69-year-old man, of Port St. Lucie, was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram on State Road 70.
