Three charged after armed robbery in Wendy’s parking lot, West Palm Beach police say

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Three people were charged after police said an armed robbery in a Wendy’s parking lot led officers to a suspect vehicle within minutes of the crime.

According to West Palm Beach Police Department probable cause affidavits, officers responded around 4:49 p.m. June 16 to the Wendy’s at 951 City Side Drive, near the Home Depot on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., after a man reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint.

Police said the man had arranged to meet an acquaintance to sell several Whole Melts THC disposable vape cartridges and was waiting in his pickup truck when a blue Honda Accord pulled into the parking lot. Investigators said two armed suspects approached his vehicle…
