BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A contractor based in the Tampa area was found guilty Tuesday of taking $38,000 from an 87-year-old man.
Records provided by the victim indicate Mark Eugene Stargardt, 66, of Stargardt and Associates, LLC, was contracted for reconstruction work after Hurricane Michael.
Between February 2019 and May 2019, Stargardt and his company cashed checks from the victim totalling about $38,000. By August 2019, no work had been done on the property in 6 months…
