PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) – Twenty barber stations are waiting at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility. The clippers haven’t buzzed yet, but for the men enrolled, the wait is almost over.
Anthony Dean has been behind bars since 2016. He walked into a brand new barber school as the instructor.
Dean cut hair for years before his incarceration. He inspired a friend to pick up the clippers. Then that friend inspired him to get licensed…
