Louisiana teen uses her story to encourage others during Scoliosis Awareness Month

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — June is Scoliosis Awareness Month, and one Lafayette teenager is sharing her story to help others facing the same diagnosis feel less alone.

Stella Furby, 17, has spent years navigating the challenges of scoliosis, a condition that causes an abnormal curvature of the spine. What began as a routine checkup eventually led to surgery, physical therapy and a long road to recovery.
