No tsunami threat following 4.6-magnitude quake off East Coast of Hawaii Island

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – No damage is expected from an earthquake off the East Coast of Hawaii Island early Wednesday morning.

The 4.6-magnitude quake had no apparent impact on the ongoing eruptions at Kilauea or Mauna Loa, according to the USGS.
