Change of leadership at Salvation Army of Richmond

The Salvation Army of Richmond announced today a change in local leadership as Captains Kevin and Wendy Justice prepare to conclude seven years of ministry and service in Richmond and receive new appointments in Wheeling, West Virginia. Effective Monday, June 22, Lieutenants Josh and Stephanie Brice will assume leadership of The Salvation Army’s ministry and social service operations in Richmond.

During their seven-year tenure, Captains Justice have overseen numerous programs and initiatives serving individuals and families throughout the community. Among their most significant contributions was their leadership in The Salvation Army’s disaster relief response following the devastating floods that struck Eastern Kentucky in August 2022. The Justices spent extensive time in Breathitt County, helping coordinate relief efforts that provided meals, drinks, emotional support, and spiritual care to flood survivors during one of the worst natural disasters in Kentucky’s history.
