As the Sacramento Zoo continues petitioning the city for more than 5 additional acres of space from Land Park, it is collecting community input and feedback in the months leading up to a city council meeting to consider the expansion proposal.
On Wednesday night, the zoo will open its entrance plaza and lawn to community members in an “informal opportunity for conversation regarding the proposed expansion,” according to the zoo’s website.
