The Hoboken Police Department swore in six new officers at a City Hall ceremony this afternoon, bringing the law enforcement agency up to 147 members.
“When taking an oath to become a Hoboken police officer, it is more than a ceremony; it is a commitment to the community, and to the values of the department,” Chief Steven Aguiar said in a statement.
“I wish each one of them success as they begin this exciting chapter and remind them all to wear the badge with pride and respect.”
