Kentucky Black Restaurant Week returns, spotlighting Black-owned businesses, local flavor

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Food lovers across Kentucky will soon have a chance to support local businesses while exploring new flavors as Kentucky Black Restaurant Week returns June 22-28.

The week-long culinary celebration, part of the larger SoulFeast Week festival, highlights Black-owned restaurants, chefs, and culinary entrepreneurs throughout Lexington. Participating restaurants will offer exclusive off-menu dishes priced at $15 or less, giving diners an affordable way to experience unique creations available only during the event.

Organizers say Kentucky Black Restaurant Week is about more than food. The initiative aims to increase visibility for Black-owned businesses while creating economic opportunities for restaurants, farmers, and food producers throughout the region.
