MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Another police department in Middle Tennessee is warning residents to not approach or try to feed black bears as more sightings pop up.
The Millersville Police Department is warning residents of a black bear sighting near the Turners Bend subdivision. MPD said the bear was spotted moving through the area on Wednesday.
Residents are urged not to approach or feed the bear. Police also recommend keeping pets supervised and on a leash while outside, and securing garbage cans, pet food, bird feeders and other possible food sources.
