From the Seminole Wars to Juneteenth: Florida’s Hidden Connection to America’s Freedom Story

FORT PIERCE — As communities across America prepare to celebrate Juneteenth, growing attention is being placed on Florida’s overlooked role in the long struggle for African American freedom.
