SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The night before Juneteenth, a performance was held to tell share the stories of the enslaved African Americans from bondage to freedom.
Thursday night, Master Storyteller Lillian Grant-Baptiste put on “Echoes of Freedom” at District Live in Savannah. The event was a performance to celebrate the Day of Jubilee, Juneteenth.
