WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The family of a 23-year-old man stabbed to death on Carolina Beach Road is speaking out for the first time since his body was found Tuesday morning.
Adam Smith’s body was discovered in front of SaltWater Marine on June 16. Three suspects now face first-degree murder charges in connection with his death.
“My brother was my everything; that was my go-to. He was athletic, smart. He was going to go back to school this year,” said Zipporah Smith, Smith’s sister. “My backbone. That’s my backbone, and now I’ve got to navigate life without my brother, and it’s hard, it’s really hard.”…
