The Oklahoma Sooners are trying to do what they couldn’t in 2022. Just a few years ago, OU baseball fell to the Ole Miss Rebels in the National Championship Series. Ole Miss, a historically great baseball program, had what OU didn’t: A ravaging fan base behind them in Omaha, Nebraska.This time around, the Sooners need that, and every single bit of it. Toby Rowland of OU Radio begged the fans on his broadcast to show up more than they did in 2022.

The last time OU played for a title, they were overwhelmed by Ole Miss fans. That cannot happen again. Get here. Figure it out.”The fans need to be there.
