After several months of discussion, the Orono City Council approved a scaled-back North Arm Launch design. Hennepin County is administering the project, which will realign parking and drive angles, update the fishing area, and improve ADA accessibility.
As part of the updates, the county agrees to enhance enforcement on illegal activities at the launch, like commercial activity.
