CINCINNATI (WXIX) – June 19 marks 11 years since Cincinnati Police Officer Sonny Kim was killed in the line of duty.
Kim, who was 49 years old, served as an officer for over 27 years, according to the Greater Cincinnati Police Historical Society. In 1987, he joined the Cincinnati Police Division as a recruit and was promoted to police officer six months later.
