Two Detroit sisters, Brianna Long, 29, and Kierianna Long, 26, were charged with assault with intent to murder after allegedly stabbing a 23-year-old fast food employee and throwing hot oil at her over a wrong order. The incident occurred on May 30 in the 17100 block of East Warren Avenue, when the sisters received an incorrect order at the drive-through of a Detroit chicken restaurant, got out of their car, and went inside to confront the employee responsible.
Court documents show one of the sisters told the worker, “I’m going to kill you,” as the confrontation escalated from a verbal dispute into a violent physical assault inside the restaurant.
Sisters chased the worker through the restaurant
According to court documents obtained by Metro Detroit News, the sisters moved behind the counter and began attacking the employee, chasing her through the restaurant while throwing items, including pots, pans, and hot grease. During the chaos, the worker reportedly threw items back at the sisters, including a knife that missed its target.
Prosecutors allege Kierianna picked up that same knife and stabbed the employee in the stomach, after which the victim fled the building and hid inside a stranger’s vehicle to call 911. She was taken to a hospital and underwent emergency surgery for her injuries.
Defense claims worker was the aggressor
Defense attorneys for the sisters disputed the prosecution’s account during their arraignment in 36th District Court, claiming the employee was the one who escalated the situation by telling the sisters she didn’t “give a f—” about the wrong order and throwing items at them first.Brianna, who was nine months pregnant at the time of the alleged attack, gave birth four days before her arraignment and pleaded with the judge that she was innocent and had a newborn at home.…
