After hearing feedback from residents about a large proposed development in southwest Cherokee County, commissioners have agreed to postpone a decision for a month.
On Tuesday, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to postpone a vote on a request from SW Cherokee Holdings LLC to rezone 39.46 acres from single-family residential, neighborhood commercial, general commercial and office/institutional to general commercial (4.46 acres) and multi-family residential (35 acres) at and around 3387 Highway 92 near Acworth.
