Atwater Village—A 77-year-old man died Friday in a multi-vehicle crash on the Golden State (5) Freeway near Griffith Park.
The crash was reported at 2:56 a.m. Friday on the southbound Golden State Freeway south of Glendale Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal victim was identified as Hossein Safaie, according to the Medical Examiner’s office. His city of residence wasn’t available…
