(KRON) — The Albany Police Department said a driver faces multiple charges after officers allegedly witnessed them actively inhaling nitrous oxide last weekend.
APD said the incident happened on Sunday, June 14 when officers received a call reporting a possible impaired driver near Buchanan and Pierce streets. Police said they located the suspect’s vehicle nearby as it was “stopped in the middle of the runway with the engine running” and approached the driver.
According to Albany police, “officers also found 85 large nitrous oxide canisters inside the vehicle.”
