Paint-splattered suspect arrested in string of church and museum defacements

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A series of vandalism incidents targeting churches and the Gifford Museum ended in an arrest Thursday after deputies found a woman nearby covered in white paint.

Over the past two days, deputies with the Indian County Sheriff’s Office say three separate properties — including area churches and the Gifford Historical Museum — were hit with damage to plaques, benches and signage.
