By Sara Beth Williams– — An adult male bicyclist was transported to a hospital with minor injuries Friday after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Greenback Lane and Auburn Boulevard, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department.
The collision occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on Greenback Lane, near the area of Greenback Lane and Auburn Boulevard. Police said the bicyclist was riding a standard bicycle, not an e-bike, when he was involved in a collision with a vehicle that was pulling out of a parking lot at a slow speed.
The bicyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment police said. The driver was not injured…
